Advisors and Coach Courses

ADVISER/ASSESSOR/COACH DEVELOPMENT

 

Two training events for advisers and assessors will be held during the seasons and will be based around games. Full details will be published in the Society handbook.

 

Society Adviser Award

 

Advisers play a vital role in the development of Rugby – not just refereeing.   This course is aimed therefore at those relatively new to watching referees - recently retired, or still active, referees.

 

Elements of the course include the role of the adviser, understanding the game, solutions to referee problems, debriefing the referee and using the report form          

 

Course 3: Society Adviser Award Sunday 9^th and 16^th December 2007

Development Adviser Award

 

The Development Adviser Award is for those experienced advisers who wish to develop their skills Elements of the course include examining the key values of advising, communication, understanding the game and using Form 2.

 

Course 4: Development Adviser Award Sunday 10^th February 2008

Assessor Award

 

For experienced advisers wishing to work at L5 and above.

 

Course 5: Assessor Award Sunday 16^th March 2008
